Join a Parks and Green Spaces Focus Group

The University of Adelaide is conducting a research study to better understand how people of diverse backgrounds use parks and green spaces in their local area and what factors make it easier or more challenging to do so.
We are looking for participants to take part in 45-minute focus group discussions. If you are selected, we will provide you with with more details about the study and the next steps in the process.
If you are not selected for this particular group, you will be considered for other upcoming focus groups.
What is a Focus Group? A focus group is a small group of people who come together to discuss and give feedback on a product, service, or idea. The group is led by a moderator who asks questions and guides the conversation. The purpose of a focus group is to get in-depth information about what people think and feel about something, which can help organisations make better decisions.
The subject of this focus group is: How do you use parks and green spaces in your local area?
Who We Are Looking For - People of diverse cultural and linguistic backgrounds (CALD)
- Age: 18+
- Able to speak and understand English
What You Need To Know - Participants will receive a $40 gift card each as a thank you for their time.
- Light catering will be provided during the focus groups.
- The sessions will be audio-recorded, and you will need to sign a consent form.
- Focus groups will be held in-person at libraries or community centers

7-8pm Para Hills Community Hub - Thursday 2 May
10-11am Civic Library Woodville - Tuesday 7 May
7-8pm 19 on Green, Brompton - Wednesday 8 May
10-11am Enfield Library
